What is the proper role of a judge? What are the legitimate powers of a judge? Is it the role of a judge to right the great wrongs of our past, or as some have described it, to simply call "balls and strikes"? Today, we'll talk about a few court cases which may challenge some of your assumptions about the purpose and powers of those who occupy the judicial branches of our governments. Only by understanding the proper role of the courts in our system of government can we truly petition the government for a redress of our grievances.
