Judges
Gideon: An Encouragement and a Warning

Encouragement:
God wants to be close to you.
He hears your cry.
He has a new name for you.
He will give you the strength to do what He wants you to do.

A Warning:
We have a dual nature: Flesh and Spirit
Galatians 5:16 NIV
We must walk by the Spirit not the flesh.
Remain humble.
Get rid of idols.

God wants us to learn from Gideon:
God wants us to be successful. When we walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh, we will accomplish the purposes God has for us.
