Judgment and Glory- This week we follow the House of Jacob and the invasion of the land. The sins of Judah has brought this to pass. However King Hezekiah looks to the Lord to deliver him from the approaching army. What follows is judgment and then glory.

Judgment and Glory – In the New testament book of Revelation we find judgment. However we also find redemption, glory, and hope.
It is everlasting and the wicked shall pass away as will all the former things. This week we also find the judgment along with glory as the Lord God delivers a devastating blow to pride and a conquering army. All the while the Jews in Judah watch it happen. Yes, this is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The one who sent Moses to deliver them out of the hand of the Pharaoh. Now, he has come to deliver them in the midst of the judgment. Although, a long time ago, we find out that in the nations of men and women; the evil that pulls us from the Lord God has not changed. While the covenant in Isaiah day was from the Sinai covenant and the Abrahamic covenant; there are many things that speak to us. We are in the days of the new covenant and the Spiritual Israel. A calling to Israel of old and a message to the gentiles to come to him; we can find all of it in this book. Behind it is Mercy, Salvation, and the Day of the Lord.
Judgment and Glory – Isa 10:20-25 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. (21) The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. (22) For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. (23) For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land. (24) Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. (25) For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.scripture Isaiah
