The bottom line is we should fear God and fear His judgment. Fearing God is wise ??" in fact the Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. God has made a way in Christ for us to never face God’s righteous judgment for our sin, because Jesus took the punishment we deserved on himself on the cross. For the Christian, our judgment was already meted out on Christ, and we are saved not because we’re better or good enough but because we place our faith in the finished work of Christ.
