The legal field was never far from home for Judge Brian Duckworth as he grew up. His father was a lawyer, as well as the president of the Orange County Bar Association. And his childhood home was just two miles down the road from the courthouse. He even played the role of a lawyer in his fourth-grade play. So it’s no surprise that when it came time to pursue a career, the law was his first choice. Listen in to Open Ninth to hear him talk to Chief Judge Lisa Munyon about his time in the state attorney’s office after graduating law school and why he chose to join the bench. OpenNinth.fm
