Everyone that practices Self Defense questions their actual ability to defend themselves on the street.  As most of us never get that opportunity, we seem to judge our ability to defend ourselves by how well we compete in the dojo or in sanctioned competition.  But is that the real answer?  If you are mediocre at Newaza (rolling), does that mean you can’t defend yourself?
