Julia Child was an American chef, author, & television personality known for bringing traditional French cuisine into the American kitchen.  She was one of the first women to have her own cooking show and helped make intimidating dishes simple and easy.

Dr. Opal Lee is the grandmother of Juneteenth.  A long-time Fort Worth educator, Opal has led multiple community & state programs since her retirement, founded Unity Unlimited Inc., & campaigned to make Juneteenth a federal holiday for DECADES.
