This week we discuss the life and works of the 14th century mystic Julian of Norwich. She suffered greatly in her life and was alive at a time of great suffering during the Black Death, when a third of the population died in one year. Her message was “All will be well” in the face of suffering. We compare our response to covid and our worship of safety.

We discuss Thy Kingdom come, and how we can pray with our new prayer books and why it is important to pray.

Finally we discuss the brilliant but disturbing 1995 film Strange Days, which is before its time commenting on race relations and the rise of the internet. Hywel enjoyed it and it might be a D for Dave with some of the scenes.
