Episode 156 (20 Sep 2021): Julio Berbel is a Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Cordoba where he coordinates the research group ‘WEARE’ (Water, Environmental, Agriculture and Resource Economics), which works on environmental management, agribusiness and biotechnology. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Engineering (Univ. Córdoba) and a Masters in Agricultural Economics (Univ. Manchester). He has consulted for the European Commission, Spanish Government and other public administrations and private stakeholders. He combines hand-on experience in environmental and agribusiness sector with academic and scientific perspectives.
