He pursues them with words, but does not have them.” — Proverbs 19:7 (ESV)“And the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.’” — Luke 1:30–31 (ESV)________________________________________Ever felt like no one noticed you—or worse, like people turned away when you needed them most? Proverbs 19:7 paints a real picture of loneliness and rejection. People can let us down, ignore us, or even walk away. But in Luke 1, we see something amazing: God steps into the life of Mary, an ordinary young girl, and chooses her for something extraordinary. The angel’s words, “Do not be afraid…you have found favor with God,” remind us that God sees us when others overlook us, and He has plans far greater than we can imagine.No matter how small or forgotten you feel, God knows your name, your struggles, and your dreams. Help me to trust You like Mary did and to believe that You can use my ordinary life for extraordinary purposes. Remind me that I am never forgotten in Your eyes. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
