To unify undisputed, WBA, WBC, & IBF super bantamweight world titles. Stephen Fulton looked weight drained and thin meeting Naoya 'The Monster' Inoue for Araike Arena’s weigh-ins. Round 1, Fulton centre ring, throwing jabs. Rd 2 Inoue countered pushing forward overhands.
Double jabs get Fulton off balance circled to the ropes, he’ll double his jabs defending. By Rd 8, hurt every time open, left hook knock down through the bottom rope. Fulton stands up beating the count, but soon referee Hector Afu calls for stoppage at 1:14, TKO.
Terence Bud Crawford vs. Erroll Truth Spence Jr. decider for WBO, WBA, WBC & IBF welterweight world titles. Round 1, Spence was throwing jabs - keeping Crawford's hands guarding. Rd 2, Crawford counters with a left hook combination to knock down Spence.
Superior skills outclass, when counting punches by Rd 5, The Truth has touched Bud’s face 24 times, compared to 52 clinical punches on his forehead. In Rd 7, Spence gets knocked down, twice. Rd 10, the referee’s had enough and stops the fight. Crawford wins by TKO.
Crawford and Inoue, cement their places among the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world. It will be exciting to see what the undisputed champions do next.
