July 20th - Mistakes should be examined, learned from, and discard; not dweled upon and stored

Listen Later

Tim Fargo

When we get feedback on something, we shouldn't dwell on it. The idea is that if you made a mistake in the past, you should learn from it and once you get the lesson down, discard it as fast possible so it doesn't weigh you down as a person. If we store and keep it as a part of ourselves, then that mistake is going to hold us back. If you had one bad mistake with one person, don't assume everyone is a bad person.

If that happens, examine how things didn't work out and learn how to do better the next time around. Holding on to your mistakes will keep you from pursuing your goals because you will second guess yourself and not go forward with the plan. It wastes time and time is something we can never get back again. So if you want to take it to the next level with your life, just follow today's quote and you'll start moving the ball in the right direction and will start to see some great things in your life.
