Why does going to church feel like such an obligation sometime? Why are we content to go through the motions on Sunday morning and walk away unchanged? There is an elephant in the church that we have ignored too long—broken, anemic worship. In Ecclesiastes 5:1-7, the Preacher offers three causes of weak and ineffective worship and challenges us to escape them at all cost.
