at North Hollywood’s historic El Portal Theatre in the heart of the NoHo Arts District. The Live Arts
Calendar features Susanna Spies’ The Dryer at Hollywood’s Working Stage Theatre in benefit for the Eamon
Cannon Comedy Class at Inner-City Arts Los Angeles. The Breakdown Services/State of the Arts weekly prize
give away is introduced to listeners. Broadway star Raymond Saar (Les Miserables) talks about his diverse
musical theatre career and giving back to youngsters enrolled in the Teenage Drama Workshop summer
conservatory on campus at California State University at Northridge. Saar recalls an awkward moment during a
performance.
