After the assault, I had a choice to make - mercy, or something else. Why is this so hard? The deep things of the soul are not hard to understand because we have an IQ problem. They are hard to understand because we have an ego problem. Victims  become bitter because of their self-righteousness, but victors learn to embrace the divine purpose behind the pain.
