Honeyville’s annual July 4 5K has a new route after notice was given that the previous route would no longer be permitted. The new route will start at the park travel north along 2750 West, east on 7200 North, south along 2350 West, and then back west to the park. This new route will cross State Route 38 twice with volunteers posted to stop runners in case of traffic coming through. The 5k planning team sees the route changes as a compromise, but one that is preferrable to a simpler out and back route.
