Diversity and BIPOC Representation in Books

July "Reads"

Listen Later

In July, I had one of my steadiest reading months because of the Bookshop x Libro.fm joint summer reading challenge. Yet, despite all of my reading….I've only actually finished TWO books in July. Today's episode is about the struggles of being a mood reader and a run-down of the books I've been "currently reading."

Books mentioned in today's episode:

  • Family Lore by Elizabeth Acevedo
  • Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
  • The Making of Yolanda La Bruja by Lorraine Avila
  • Undercover Latina by Aya de León
  • Atomic Habits by James Clear
  • Yolk by Mary H. K. Choi
  • Wash Day Diaries by Jamila Rowser
