This week our Pastor Dan Belshaw opened our Easter series Grace & Mercy with a message titled Jumping Cows & The Prodigal Sons. In Luke 15, Dan explored the famous parable often called the Prodigal Son, reminding us it’s really the story of two lost sons. One ran from the Father through rebellion; the other stayed close but trusted in his own goodness. Yet the Father pursued them both. Through this story, Dan showed that sin promises freedom but delivers dirt, while God’s grace and mercy restore what was lost. The gospel isn’t behaviour modification - it’s the Father running to bring us home.
