Decisions are an act of the will, and they are always influenced by the mind, emotions, or both. The decisions we make actually reflect the desires of our hearts (Psalm 119:30).

A key question to ask yourself before making a decision would be “is this to please me or the Lord?”

(Joshua 24:15; cf. Romans 12:2). The standard has been set: “If serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord”
