Estimates of multiple thousands of people protested in Indiana Saturday, and multiple hundreds did the same here in Muncie.  These were “No Kings” protests, standing against what critics say is increasing executive branch power with the Trump administration leaning toward authoritarianism, policies favoring billionaires, and the militarization of the federal government. 

Ball State University is freezing tuition and fees for the next two years, after a strong recommendation to do so from state officials.
