Most of us aren't afraid of one bad day. We're afraid the pressure will eventually break us. That's exactly why 1 Thessalonians 3 matters. Paul knew suffering could shake people, but the answer wasn't "try harder." The strength of your future isn't found in your grip on God—it's found in His grip on you. Trouble may test you, but it cannot undo what Christ has already finished.
