Hey everybody! Welcome back for another awesome episode of Queer All Year!

Today we have the pleasure of telling you about the glorious Sally Ride! She was the first American woman in space and unbenownst to the world at the time, the first lesbian in space! She also was a brilliant physicist, notably having discovered the faulty O-rings as the cause for the disastrous Challenger explosion. After her death, the world found out that Sally's family had been very accepting of her life, including her partnership with Tam for 27 years. They had just chosen not to publicize it. It's so nice to have a happy ending for once!
