brothers to be reunited. At last Jacob calls upon God and asks him to deliver

him from the hand of Esau. Think back about the treatment Esau received at the

hand of his mother and Jacob. Think about how difficult the relationship

between Jacob and Laban was, how difficult the relationship between Leah and

Rachel had become and how manipulation caused all of these difficulties. We, too,

have difficulties in relationships. While we need to do what we can to solve

these difficulties, we must also realize that the most important thing we can

do is pray and trust God. Think of struggles you have had in relationships.

Call out to God for forgiveness and pray about the role God would have you play

in reconciliation.
