Advocates for deaf and hard-of-hearing Hoosiers say budget cuts at the Indiana School for the Deaf are becoming a crisis. Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports the school received a five percent cut in the new state budget and recently laid off more than a dozen staff.
