Hey everybody! Welcome back for a wonderful episode of Queer All Year!
Finally, a day in which some good things happened! After the last few episodes, Cat and McG have been very much looking forward to these happy topics! Unfortunately it won't last-Stonewall is coming up.. But today we celebrate Reverend Doctor William R Johnson who became the first openly gay person ordained in an "establishment" denomination of Christianity. Next we celebrate the very first flight of the rainbow flag at the San Francisco Gay Freedom Day parade. Cat also discusses how this fits into the Black Lives Matter movement. As for the title of the episode, we would really appreciate if you could give us a 5 star rating and review wherever it is that you listen to our podcast! If you believe that our topics are important and for the benefit of humankind, leaving a rating and review is the most effective way to open us up to new listeners, as this is how iTunes' algorithm seems to work. This can be accessed in your podcast app on the our Queer All Year page.
Thanks so much and remember: We Love You!
