Knauer recounts the day (during the yard period) when the skipper of the USS JFK had all "junior officers" assemble in the wardroom at 17 hundred hours to lecture and inform them all that they were, "nothing more than a buck of fucking little drones" and why that was the case. Lt. Knauer also recounts how Captain Tuttle treated sailors at Captain's MAST, especially in the case of SHSN Gentry.
