Is God still in the miracle business? Of course He is!
God is as good and as active as He has ever been and He is waiting to show you that your issues or the issues of those you love are not beyond His power and purposes. Today's episode includes a story about the late Dr. Helen Roseveare, who was a British missionary to the Congo in the 1950s and 60s. Hopefully this story will encourage you to ask God for the miraculous in your life.
With the onset of social media and the popularity of "influencers," God's people have more often sought to become Christian celebrities rather than simple servants. God is looking for those who would simply follow His commands and leave the fanfare for others.
The Old Testament story of Ehud lets us know that God can use anyone He chooses to accomplish His plans. And King Eglon serves as a warning to us all about the temporal nature of certain pleasures.
Grumbling and complaining are not spiritual gifts, though by listening to some of us, you might think they are.
As they wandered the desert, the Israelites honed their griping and complaining into an art, despite the fact that God miraculously met their every need. And when Moses tired of them, his reaction to them cost him the chance to lead them into Canaan.
Todays' episode will hopefully challenge you to walk in a spirit of gratitude.
Too many people have been caught up in the moral drift of society. They've started singing the world's tune and they are dancing with the devil. And if they are determined to dance their way into hell, I've got just the soundtrack for them on today's episode of Jurassic Andy's TNT.
This is the first episode of what is planned to be a limited series podcast that delivers a devotional thought and a tune in each episode.
Hopefully you will be encouraged, challenged and maybe even a little entertained.
I hope you enjoy.
