back again with me arofah, now this time I want to tell you about some news that I watched. the first is "concerns about a bad flu season", the news released by CNN at the beginning of 2020 talks about the USA, where January of that year was a very bad flu season. where there are 9 point 7 million people who have been hospitalized for severe flu, with an index of 4800 people died from this flu, where this flu is dominated by children and adolescents. and this time the vaccine really worked less effectively than before. here the flu works very deadly, 4 factors including influenza virus pneumonia, sepsis, flu which increases the risk of heart attack, and dehydration.
for the second news, "Merck: pill to treat covid-19 autodisk of death by half." news delivered by a CNN reporter at the beginning of October yesterday discussed the first pill that is thought to be able to overcome COVID-19. where the originator of Merck said that this drug can be used for people who are already infected not as a substitute for a vaccine. in the trial phase, the experiment was paused because the independent advisor basically saw the results of the experiments that had been carried out, if the results were very satisfactory and had a positive impact, the research process would be resumed. where this pill is expected to be able to help people who have or are infected with COVID without having to go to the hospital, so that drugs can be accessed easily from home. But what needs to be emphasized again is that this pill is not a substitute for a vaccine, but the pill is used as a helper for those who are infected with COVID-19
