Jason Flowers played basketball at both UCI and UCLA. Started his coaching career at Santa Ana Valley high school before diving into college. Stints at Long Beach State and UC Riverside as an assistants before getting his first heading coach job at Cal State Northridge. Winning 150 games over ten year picking up two Big West Conference Coach of the Year as well as winning three Big West Conference tournament titles.
