Inspired by recent emotions and experiences, I discuss what I hold close to my heart and remind myself of when I start to struggle or lose focus and will-power for life. I consider and pose some important questions; What is your life philosophy? What are your values? Who/what are we proving and/or perfecting ourselves for, performing to and pleasing? Where do you see yourself in five years? Who do you want to be? What do you want to radiate?

I've been reading a lot lately and a penguin pocket book by Alok Vaid-Menon ('Beyond The Gender Binary') really inspired me. So did Cleo Wade's 'Where to Begin'. This week we talk about compromising yourself, what this might look like or mean, when this began, and how we're going to stop. 

No more social media for a while. This year, I'm concentrating on a few things. Empowerment - I want to encourage and impact and empower others, and vice versa. I want to rediscover and reconnect with what truly makes me happy. I want to have as much fun as possible and learn to take the mick in life! I also catch you up on a few things I've been up to with youth work and fieldwork placement and what I've learnt there. 2021; let's 'av it!!!

I had a really inspiring discussion about mental health and wellbeing with an incredible group of young people who I work with. In this episode, I talk about some things that came up during the discussion; my own experience and struggles with my mental health and wellbeing; coping mechanisms; and how I've changed from then to now. 

In this episode I explain some of my artwork that has been on display at Cafe INDIEpendent in Scunthorpe, which was inspired by Mae Martin's 'Feel Good' and my personal struggle with gender identity. I begin to unwrap some of my own thoughts, feelings, experiences and perceptions of identity and gender. I'm more than happy to talk more or answer any questions if anyone wants to/has any! I've got my nails done and I'm feeling overly powerful. In this episode I talk about my child-self... she was a diva! I treat you to some clips of me singing and being a "radio presenter", and explain how I made a performer in Leicester Square fall over. Also, I'm never going to be an actress on Coronation Street, a professional singer, in a musical, or a professional dancer, and I'm quite sad about that.

I don't like when people post "Happy Birthday" on my Facebook wall. I've been going through my 'memory boxes' and coming to terms with my bad habits around keeping things, and starting things just to drop them. I've started learning Italian. Drag Race is changing me. I've not always had the best experiences at gigs. And I guess you could say I've got a few goals for my 20s...

I read my first couple of reviews from some of the most important people, talk about my accent, growing up, what I've learnt about myself in the last couple of years, the empowerment theory by Paulo Freire, and how I'm thriving through a new level of life! I also teach you what it means if a Christian has 'a picture' for you. #livingmybestlife
