IN this episode, I talked to an emotions doctor to help us navigate and control our emotions. To control emotions, start by being aware of them and their physical signs. Use deep breathing to calm down, and try changing your perspective through cognitive reframing. Practice mindfulness or meditation to stay present, and engage in physical activity to improve your mood. Talking it out or journaling can help process emotions, and developing empathy can ease frustration. Taking breaks from overwhelming situations also helps regain clarity. We talked about the importance of properly communicating, apologizing, and arguing all while keeping our emotions in check and staying on topic since that's the only way to move forward with the relationship.
