Yali Millan was raised in Puerto Rico and she came to the United States 7 years ago to work in the finance industry. She always had a little voice saying that she was meant for more. After a divorce, she went through a journey of self-discovery and emotional healing. In the process, she decided that she wanted to be a nail technician and an esthetician to help people feel good about themselves.  Her journey led her to own her own nail studio called The Nail Pot. Now, Yali has the goal of educating people about the importance of foot care and debunking all the beauty myths and old wives tales. She believes in promoting community and networking over competition for people in the beauty industry to help overcome the challenges she faced when just starting out.
