Dear Kids,

It tickled my soul to watch you guys receiving such joy from something as simple as sidewalk chalk. Rex, thank you for chipping extra when my ankle went out of commission. Last week we found a dead rat in the pool, last night I saw a leaf and thought dead rat again, it wasn't. However, it reminded me the time we tragically lost our hamster on Christmas Day. Your mother and I love you and pray you're all thriving in life.
