In this episode, Sharonda and Jessica are joined with special guest Dina McReynolds Everage- a mother, educator, connector, curator and life enthusiast. Dina, who describes herself as "just a round, brown girl from the Southside of Chicago" has been a pillar in her community for the last 30 years by transforming school experiences for students in Chicago. Dina not only shares her professional journey, but she takes the time to have a vulnerable conversation about her personal journey, seeking love and validation from within, staying in the light, body liberation and how to work towards being present every day.
Also in this episode we discussed Dina's Liberated Bellies Movement; the page was created as a reminder for women to love themselves wholeheartedly and thier bodies wherever it is in the moment. In addition, check out and support The Ish Brand: curated care packages along with kimonas + klutches by Dina.
