We need Jesus because humanity is separated from God by sin and cannot save itself. Jesus is the only one who lived without sin, paid the price for our sins through the cross, and defeated death through His resurrection. Through Him we receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, true purpose in this life, and the promise of eternal life in the one to come.
