Scripture teaches that this world is fallen, temporary, and marked by suffering. Followers of Christ are promised trials—not perfection—because our true hope is not here. Our best life is still to come, when sin, pain, and death are gone, and we are fully restored in the presence of God for eternity. Those who preach that this is your best life now are preaching a message that fills a persons heart with false hope.
