Justices Cronk and Feldman were two of five judges on the Ontario Court of Appeal who heard the prostitution reference (case) at the appeal level in Ontario. Cronk was one of two judges who dissented, because she felt their court’s ruling, which struck down prostitution laws, didn’t go far enough. The Court of Appeal ruling and dissenting position were recently upheld by The Supreme Court of Canada. Justice Cronk was appointed to the Court of Appeal for Ontario in 2001. Justice Feldman has been a judge on the Court of Appeal for Ontario since 1998.
