Suzanne Johnson went missing on the evening of March 4th, 1971. Her partially disrobed body was discovered in tall grass in a field North West of Elkhart on March 19, 1971. Based on contents of her stomach it is known that she died the day she vanished yet her body had hardly deteriorated several days later when she was found. Police were able to find blood under her fingernails and evidence of sexual assault. This case remains a mystery.
