God is at work to make all things new.
We look around and see things that are not right. Something within us says, “No, that’s not the way it’s supposed to be!” We believe that in Christ, God is setting the world right. As we follow the Risen Jesus into the world, what does it look like to participate in God’s mission of justice?
May we live as agents of God's new creation: welcoming the stranger, caring for the vulnerable, loving the hurting and broken, proclaiming and demonstrating the Kingdom of God that has come and is yet to come.
Listen to this week's sermon focusing on Luke 14:1, 7-14.
What’s in it for me? It’s a simple question, a common question. But as participants in the Kingdom of God, Jesus moves us from an ethic of self-preservation or self-protection to a communal way of life marked by mutuality, reciprocity, and solidarity with others.
