Romans 4:24-25, "But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25, Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification."

The Lord Jesus was raised from the dead. One of the effects of this was that believers in Jesus receive justification. All of our sins and guilt are washed away because Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. We are not only saved by his death, but by his life as well.

After many offences of men the Lord Jesus came and gave us himself as a free gift for our justification. Romans 5:16.

LORD JESUS, thank you for offering yourself as a sacrifice for all of my sins. I am thankful for the gospel, the good news that you died in my place, you were buried, and you rose again on the third day. You were raised again for my justification. Thank you, heavenly Father. Amen.
