Wednesday, April 5, 2023 5:00 - 6:30 PM | 48 Hour Film Festival

Groups of K-State students had 48 hours to create an original short story as part of a filmmaking competition. After turning in the short films, a panel of professional filmmakers judged the films based on a set criteria. Now, UPC is putting on an incredible red carpet-style premiere for everyone to watch! Prizes will be awarded in several categories including the Audience Choice Award! You won't want to miss the (lights, cameras, and) action!

Free to attend. Enjoy free popcorn and soda, too!

ASU will be hosting The 2023 African Night where a celebration of food, dance, music, and entertainment in the format of a make-believe wedding party will take place. Wedding ceremonies in African cultures are an elaborate show and celebration of the union of not just the couple, but families and communities. They hope to capture the essence of these ceremonies during the African Night and would love for you to join in your most regal attire and dancing shoes of course. The event will start at 5pm and will be located in the Ballroom of the K-State Student Union.
