K9 Search and Rescue - The Early Days with Bill Dotson

Bill Dotson is well known throughout the Search and Rescue (SAR) community as a Search Manager and Trainer/Instructor. In this episode, however, we'll chat with Bill about his early days in SAR with his Belgian Shepherd Lys, traveling for testing to Switzerland, and forming CARDA (California Rescue Dog Association.) With deployments close to home in Northern California and also throughout the world responding to disasters, Bill shares his stories of searches with his dogs, the relationships he had with his dogs, and a wealth of knowledge gleaned during 42 years involved in K9 SAR.
