Kadie Major grew up a bubbly, cheerful girl in a small town outside Charleston, South Carolina. She always dreamed of owning a farmhouse where she could raise horses and grow her family. She fell in love with a quiet, reserved classmate named Aaron Major in high school. They eventually married and settled in a house just minutes from Kadie’s parents. By January 2008, Kadie Major seemed to have the perfect life. She and Aaron had a beautiful 10-month-old baby girl named River Lynn, with a baby boy (to be named Aidan Robert) on the way. Everything was on the right track. Yet things aren’t always as they seem. Aaron appeared to struggle with depression during his college days, and the couple was prone to argument and bickering.
