Kai Adams was in Colorado in school for geology and working at a brewery when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Kai returned to Maine for post-treatment rest, which eventually resulted in his meeting future business partners Tim Haines and Brad Monarch — thus Sebago Brewing was born.
