My Life is the Medicine

Kale Dennis - Acupuncturist, Drummer, Martial Artist, Traveler - Part 1

Listen Later

Good friends for over a decade, Kale and Chuck sit down to talk about life lessons from world travel, mistakes and harm caused by blindly following love, naivete,  and shared experiences drumming and in ceremony.  Having met and sustained friendship through the djembe, this episode starts with a short clip of Kale, Chuck, and other friends playing together while dancers danced at a gig in old town Fort Collins this past summer with our Fale Performance community group.

Kale has been practicing Classical Five Element Acupuncture since 2019 and practices in Fort Collins, Colorado. Kale also has been practicing therapeutic bodywork and massage since 2009.  Five Element Acupuncture seeks to treat a root cause of imbalance in the body, rather than a symptom-based treatment and in addition to helping with physical conditions, helps with mental and emotional concerns as well. Kale is conversationally fluent in Spanish and in his free time loves to garden, hike, play West African drums, and practice the Chinese Martial Art of Xing Yi Quan. Kale can be reached at [email protected].
