Success is like a feeling and an emotion. 

everyone feels and enjoys success differently. 

for few gaining riches is called success. and for a few, a high status in society can be called success. According to religion, real success is living a life according to the orders of Allah and the teachings of the Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) and being successful especially after the day of judgement. In this world, everything comes at a price. This price can be classified in nominal and real terms. Similarly, economists classify such prices as an Opportunity cost. 

one has to pay such prices to be successful. One has to forgo health and riches to be successful.  A successful person has to decide against wishes sometimes. And even sometimes to be successful one has to give up on a few close relations, which is never easy. Those who succeed easily are very lucky. however, others reach their destiny with a sense of sadness and disappointment. 

It's also a fact that in success everyone wants to take ownership contrary to failure which is without an owner. everyone related to a successful person wants to harvest fruits of success however not everyone shares the responsibility of failures. 

Along with all this, it must be mentioned that the sense of being successful in the world and the life hereafter is amazing. Having 'Good Intentions", prayers, a sense of hard work and the ability to pay the price of being successful are the key ingredients of success. sometimes being fortunate can bring ease in this process. 

In every era, wise people from all over the world have beautifully defined the prerequisites of being successful. 

But in my view strategy and a well-defined destination are crucial for success. 

Sometimes the destiny might change but still if the new destination will be well defined it will be easier to find ways to reach the destination.

the other most important skill is being persistence. 

read somewhere Eddison attempted 1094 times before the light bulb was invented. 

everyone can not reach the destination with the speed of light and even its not necessary at all. 

according to your ability and resources just take small steps and keep going.

you will be successful and success will be waiting for you with open arms in one way or another.
