Unlike a four-legged animal like a cow or a dog which is easier for the detection software to read, the randomness of a kangaroo’s hop is proving to be too difficult to manage for the current generation of driverless car software. Steve and Ben discuss this unique problem in the development of working driverless cars, and how this and other problems still need to be resolved before the technology can go mainstream.
