Guess who’s back?? Child actor Kara Mae Khan!
I first interviewed Kara after her “big break” at 7!
I loved catching up with Kara, who is now a charismatic 10-year-old and she still has her bubbly personality and enthusiasm for performing. Kara was first discovered while performing in pageants by her agent, leading to a co-starring role in the TV show “Council of Dads,” countless commercials, and now her new starring role in the film “The Shift!”
“The Shift” is a sci-fi thriller written and directed by Brock Heasley, it also features cast: Neal McDonough, Kristoffer Polaha, Elizabeth Tabish, and Sean Astin. Produced by Angel Studios’ this is their first original feature film. “The Shift,” is the story of Kevin Garner (Polaha) who encounters a mysterious adversary known as The Benefactor (McDonough). When Kevin refuses The Benefactor’s enticing offer of wealth and power, he is shifted into an alternate totalitarian regime where he encounters infinite worlds and impossible choices as he attempts to return to the woman he loves (Tabish).
Full interview out Thursday! The Shift is out now.
