Host Keith Porter introduces us to Karen O’Hara, who is just finishing up her first year as Executive Dean of the Nevada County campus of Sierra College. Karen grew up in Alaska, came to UC Davis for her studies in education, became a Department Chair and Associate Dean at CSU Sacramento, and took over leadership of our local campus of Sierra College in June last year.
