Karonavyrus: One Year Later

Listen Later

Welcome back! This week on the pod, we look at Karonavyrus one year later and what that means. We’ve all been working from home for a while and are all over it (I'm sure), plus tired of wearing a mask every time we stand up. We also discuss President Biden's promise to have vaccines available for all citizens by mid summer. Sadly, recent domestic terrorism in Atlanta and nationwide that is focused on Asian Americans. We talk about how online hate groups have made many people feel comfortable with being outwardly violent and racist. GA Republicans are in the news for enacting voting laws that are being called “modern day Jim Crow” by everyone, including President Biden. This is something we tackle because of how it unfairly targets African Americans and is a result of the 2020 Presidential Election. We close with THIS AINT YOUR MINISTRY and ask why to ‘Married at First Sight’ producers, GA Republicans, Delta, and Jay Baker. Tune in you don’t want to miss this!

Closer Look

Karonavyrus

This is the one-year anniversary of quarantine life and Karaonavyrus. Q and P talk about dealing with quarantine weight, our thoughts on still working from home, watching mask life change in real time, and Uncle Joe's vaccine promise.

KNUCK IF YOU BUCK

Recent domestic terrorism targeting Asian Americans has been on the rise. Many of the terrorists are white and American born, with seeds of racism spawned from online hate groups.

(SORE LOSERS) [or GA Republicans don’t want black people to vote]

New voting restriction laws are being dubbed “modern day Jim Crow” due to how it will disproportionately affect African Americans and other minorities. Republican legislation passed this because of DJT’s meltdown for losing the 2020 Presidential election.

THIS AIN'T YOUR MINISTRY

We have questions for the producers of Married at First Sight, GA Republicans both in the Senate and the House, Cherokee County Sheriff's Capt. Jay Baker and Delta. We call lots of folks acting out of pocket to the pulpit this week to figure out what they were thinking.
